My Apologies to BYU fans whom I may have offended. So it looks like, for now at least, that your team is better than my team. I am not sure what happened on Thursday, there are several competing theories. Jeff believes that the loss stems from his "exuberant joy" at UCLA having to market to Fresno State fans to try to sell tickets so they were not playing in a vacant stadium (still a funny story). Ryan thinks they got too cocky and didn't show up. Others have speculated that there is something in the air in Corvallis. I think that they are just a bunch of young college guys trying pretty hard despite having tons of pressure on them. Ultimately they didn't play as well last week as they had in the two near flawless games before. Damn the Pac10 bottom feeders who for three years in a row have been able to destroy our triumphant season. I held out hope to the bitter end that they would recover, but alas one too many interceptions sealed the deal. It was like de ja vu from two years ago. Today I am not a fan of Beavers and I am not sure if I am hoping that they beat Utah this weekend or that they loose.

Anyway enough about football. This weekend we went to St. George and hung out with family and went to my 10 year class reunion. It was fun to see lots of old friends and I was surprised by how many people I recognized. I was also surprised by how nice everyone was. It was like picking up where we left off 10 years ago. Mostly I was surprised by how many kids everyone has. Ryan and I are clearly not doing our part to multiply and replenish. Despite this I think that I will be very happy with two.

More Documentation

So this weekend was excellent afterall, I got my house clean and Ryan got home in time for the USC game. Sorry Buckeyes about the outcome. I know it must have hurt. The good news is that my team is still awesome!

Yesterday I had some time to scrap and worked on the pages below.

I have been working on a little video clip but it seems to have crashed before I could publish it and Emily is waking up, so I guess I will have to post it later. Can you believe how much my little peanut has grown?

So Annoyed

Ok so it is Saturday, one of the sacred college football Saturday's where we are supposed to get up and watch college game day in our pajamas and then eat junk food for the rest of the day while watching football...The sanctity has been destroyed. This morning Ryan had to go clean the church so we didn't watch most of game day (and it was one of the best of the year since it was mostly about USC). Then Ryan left with Patrick to go to the BYU game (GRRRRRR). Leaving me alone with Nem in my dirty house, to clean and watch football by myself! Supposedly he will be back in time for the USC game. If not it will be a violation of the #1 rule of being a BYU fan (you can only be a fan when it doesn't conflict with USC games). I watched Ryan and Patrick drive away in my blue Honda (why did I think blue was a good color) each wearing their BYU shirts and flying a BYU flag out the window (in my car, are you kidding me). As they were leaving and I was pouting, Ryan grabbed the USC flag and said he would fly it on the way home; that made me feel a little better. Ryan went online and got the words to the BYU fight song and was singing it this morning...Holy cow it is SO GAY!!! It made me puke a little in my mouth. Ryan says that it is hard enough to be a BYU fan without my making fun, but I can't help it I still think it is funny when they loose. Below are a few photos of Nem from the first week of college football. Isn't she a cute little Trojan.

She is getting so big. Lately she is a little monkey. She is starting to imitate everything I say and do. Her new favorite words are baby, bubble, and apple. I can't believe how much fun it is to play and laugh with her.
